Hollywood's 20 Masters Of Horror: The Twisted Talents Raising Th

'You look like the sort of woman who's too busy fussing with her hair to look after her children' 'Your old hair colour was luminous, so we will tint it all over to a more translucent, softer blonde, using golden caramel shades. This will look more sophisticated and should need re-doing no more than every couple of months.' While Jo's stylist, Evie Perkins, did my colour, the cut was done by senior stylist Marcio Oliveira, who insists the Cameron Diaz cut is the perfect style for fortysomethings like me. My hair, he told me, is twice as thick as and much curlier than the Hollywood star's, so he pared it right down to get it to lie as flat and look a little choppy like hers. And as my homepage fringe was shorter than Cameron's, he created a kind of sweep-over, taking a chunk of hair from the right side of my head and training it to fall over to the right. 'Cameron will have a team of people whose job it is to make sure she always looks her best in public,' said Marcio. 'But with pics of kim kardashian the right cut and blow-dry, women like you can achieve this look.' Not all happy: Helen's three children preferred her old hair style So what was the verdict? If I'm honest, when I looked in the mirror after my blow-dry I got a shock.
Source:

Certainly, we wanted to believe him. Certainly, as well, his confident demeanour was far removed from the vacant-eyed young actor who had faced the media a few years previously. We were still giving him the benefit of the doubt three years later when he sat down with reporters to talk about his movie Restoration. Yet, he looked terrible, with an unhealthy pallor and bleary eyes. Slumped in his chair, he launched into a pointless spiel about being up half the night relooping lines from the movie. We wanted to take him at his word - he was pathetic in his eagerness to convince us he was fine.
Source:

Among those on the list are genre gods Guillermo del Toro and Stephen King along with some surprising entrants, including Michael Bay. Also on the list are young actresses Kiernan Shipkaand Chloe Grace Moretz, the latter of whom owes her career to horror after starring in a remake of The Amityville Horror at age 6. Says Moretz of playing King's heroine in the upcoming Carrie: "I think what worked for me is that I feel incredibly vulnerable around teenagers. I never went to high school.
Source:

"When we reached the corner, I realized she was covered in blood," Harden said. He testified that both he and Calderon took photos of the suspects, who were panhandling and holding obscenity-laced signs. When he and Calderon refused to pay the suspects for the photos, Harden says Kinnear attacked Calderon. "I saw him on top of her," Harden said. Calderon died of a stab wound to her upper torso. Kinnear was arrested hours later. Attorneys for Kinnear and the other two suspects argued that Harden's story was inconsistent, and that there wasn't enough evidence to support the charges against their clients.
Source:

So where to even start? Daniel Radcliffe has shed his Harry Potter persona for the upcoming Kill Your Darlings with an exploration of homosexuality, masturbation and picking up older men in bar, and Blue is the Warmest Color continues to stir controversy in the U.S. as it is released in more and more film festivals. The French lesbian movie, which won the Cannes Film Festival, is being hailed for its artistic elements and passionate love story, but has been slapped with a NC-17 rating and includes a very graphic, lengthy sex scene. Technically in America, the relationship would be considered statutory rape.
Source:

Many tourists now use GPS devices on their cars and phones to map out the best views. And the directions send them not just down the main roads but into narrow residential canyons. Tourist websites also offer tips on prime locations. One even directed visitors to Deronda Drive, where "residents will have lemonade stands set up, offering the perfect thirst quencher after an exhilarating hike to the sign. They're wonderful folks!" Residents say they are bothered by the traffic but are most concerned about safety issues because the curving hillside roads were not designed for so many cars and pedestrians. "We live in the middle of an area that is very attractive to people all over the globe," said Fran Reichenbach, president of the Beachwood Canyon Neighborhood Assn.
Source:,0,3519441.story

Discontent brewing under the Hollywood sign

A dozen people were stuck for more than two hours on a roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida. The 12-person train stopped near the top of the first hill of the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit around 7 p.m. EDT Wednesday. Universal spokesman Tom Schroder said they were finally freed around 9:30 p.m. A glitch caused the computers to go into safety mode, stopping the ride, Schroder said.
Source:
